A parent or a grandparent of a Canadian citizen or a Permanent Resident can visit their children and grandchildren in Canada.

Some of these are:
- A sponsor should get a medical insurance form a Canadian insurance company that is valid for 1 year from the date of entry. The coverage should be at least $100,000.
- The Canadian Sponsor must prove that their household income meets the minimum necessary income.
- You must apply for A supervise from outside Canada
- You must take immigration medical exam
- Have a signed letter from your child or grandchild who invited you to Canada
